2025 has been a big year. I set out with a loose goal to produce a product of some kind each month. I absolutely did not hit that goal.

I’m a designer by training, having worked on the web since the early aughts, I’ve always wanted to make my own products. Newer tools are finally making this happen.

In “The Creative Act: A Way of Being” Rick Rubin’s book on creativity, he has a chapter where he compares ideas to seeds and also makes a fishing analogy. Mixed metaphors aside, it stuck with me, partly because I am a designer and a fisherman.
